This year, the technology giant seems willing to let go of some traditions and to give consumers precisely what they are convinced of and asking for. Now, you can navigate to “Mobile Network” option and select preferred network as 2G/3G/4G for both SIM 1 and SIM 2. You can also go to “SIM card” option to set def which SIM will be automatically used for data, calling or texts. 5. Access Zenmotion Gestures double tap to wake, sleep, etc. In spite of the switch to a near-pure Android experience, Asus has retained its Zenmotion gestures on the Zenfone Max Pro M1. To access these gestures, go to Settings and scroll down to System’ settings. You will find gestures within System settings. 6. Turn on Battery Saver Automatically You can set Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 to automatically turn on battery saver mode automatically when you are running out of battery juice. To do so, go to Settings>> Battery. Tap on Battery saver option without toggling it On. Now tap on Turn on Automatically and choose when you’d like the power saver mode to kick in at 5%, 15%, or never. 7. Change display color temperature Unlike most stock Android devices, the Zenfone Max Pro M1 lets you adjust color temperature to an extent. A slider under display settings lets you shift towards warmers tones that are lighter on your eyes or towards colder tones if you’d rather have bluish whites. We, for one, like a little warmer tones than the default settings on the Zenfone Max Pro. 8. Remove Vibration in Keyboard and on Navigation buttons If you don’t want your phone to return haptic feedback every time you press a navigation button or whenever you type using the keyboard, you can turn the vibration off. To do so, go to Settings > Sound > advanced and toggle off Vibrate on Press’. If you want to remove vibration feedback only from Keyboard, you can do so from Preferences under Gboard settings. 9. Change default apps To change default apps on Zenfone Max Pro M1, go to Settings>> Apps & Notification>> Advanced and select default apps. From here, you can change already set default app preferences. From the same menu, you can also decide which app you’d want to open links that you encounter within other apps. Turn on Home screen Rotation If you often use your phone in landscape and find it easier to navigate home screen in landscape position, you can turn on the option to rotate Home screen as phone rotates.
