Entah kenapa project Custom ROM Pixel Experience dihentikan, mungkin karena Produk Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus sudah tidak diproduksi lagi dan semakin berkurang secara resmi MIUI 12 belum tesedia untuk Device Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus, namun sudah tersedia Custom ROM ROM Modifikasi MIUI 12 suport Android Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus yang merupakan hasil portingan modifikasi dari ROM MIUI 12 Xiaomi Mi Kalian pengguna Android Xiaomi Redmi 5 Plus yang juga ingin mencicipi MIUI 12 Beta, langsung saja Download MIUI 12 Beta Redmi 5 Plus. Redmi 5 ini diotaki prosesor Octa-Core yang memiliki clockspeed GHz dari chipset Snapdragon 450 bertandem dengan RAM 2GB. Demikian juga mengolah grafis, Xiaomi melengkapinya dengan GPU Adreno 506. Smartphone Xiaomi yang diluncurkan pada December 2017 sudah dibekalkan Android Nougat dengan antarmuka MIUI 9. Versi global stable dari MIUI 11 Android Oreo beberapa waktu lalu sudah menyambangi Redmi 5. sobat pengguna HP ini yang ingin melakukan update bisa mengikuti penjelasan cara update disini. Cara Update Redmi 5 Via Mi Flash Kalau kedua cara diatas masih gagal, kemungkinan karena Redmi 5 sobat menggunakan ROM Distributor tidak resmi atau biasa disebut ROM Abal-abl. Terpaksa sobat harus melakukan flashing via PC melalui Mi Flash tool, seperti yang saya jelaskan dibawah ini. Matikan HP Redmi 5 kemudian tekan tombol Volume Bawah dan Power bersama-sama, tahan sampai masuk ke Fastboot Mode.. Buka Mi Flash dan klik tombol Select dan pilih folder ROM Fastboot yang telah kalian extract di drive C tadi. Pada bagian bawah pilih Clean All. Sekarang hubungkan Redmi 5 ke PC dengan menggunakan kabel USB. Nanti kalau terhubung ke PC, di Mi Flash Tool akan tampak id dan device kita. Kalau belum muncul klik tombol Refresh. Klik tombol Flash otomatis proses flash akan berjalan. Proses flashing ini memakan waktu berkisar antara 15 sampai 20 menit bahkan terkadang lebih. Kalau proses telah selesai akan terlihat status Success pada Mi Flash dan juga otomatis Redmi 5 kalian akan Reboot dengan sendirinya. Kalau mengalami tidak otomatis Reboot coba cabut kabel USB dan tekan tombol Power yang lama sampai bergetar. Redmi 5 datang membawa layar berukuran inci menggunakan panel LCD IPS dengan desain kekinian. Resolusinya pun sudah sangat mumpuni HD+ alias 720 x 1440 piksel. Redmi 5 tersemat penyimpanan internal yang luas berkapasitas 16GB bekerja sama dengan RAM 2GB. HP ini telah didukung penyimpanan eksternal MemoryCard hingga 512GB.
